Look closer, safely
The city is the game board—not an obstacle course

Stay in public, accessible places
Every required observation must be possible from a public route during the Quest’s stated hours. Never cross a barrier, enter private property, climb, touch architectural details, or place yourself in traffic to solve a clue.
The host sets the pace
Pause for weather, darkness, fatigue, accessibility needs, or an uncomfortable street condition. There is no speed bonus. Team VS delays rival progress so nobody needs to rush.
Use the safest route, not the shortest line
Follow marked crossings and current transit guidance. On-screen distance and radar are approximate orientation aids, not turn-by-turn navigation or a direction to cross unsafely.
Report changes immediately
Use “Report a route problem” if a sidewalk is blocked, a clue has changed, a business is closed, or a POI feels unsafe or inaccessible. The game saves progress while the report is reviewed.
Ask before photographing people
Make Good participants must affirmatively consent before the camera is raised. Ask adults only outside your group, accept no or hesitation immediately, and never make an uninvolved person the subject. Ask workers only when they are unbusy and the business permits the photo; do not interrupt service or imply that a purchase is required.
Emergency help
Roam Uncommon is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services for immediate danger or medical assistance.
Questions or safety concerns can be reported from the active game screen. For purchase help, use the support contact in your Quest Pass confirmation.
